Merry Christmas from 10 scale reviews and I mean it!!!

We here at 10 scale reviews want to wish all our friends, colleagues, and musical artists a very warm and joyful Merry Christmas!! Did I really wish people a “Merry Christmas”?! Then I hear the loud crying “Oh no you can’t say that for fear of offending someone who might be Hebrew, athiest, buddhist, muslim, etc, etc, etc,” from politically correct pundits of the world. Well I am saying it and meaning it!!! What about me being offended that my Christian right must be removed. After all isn’t Jesus the reason for the season??!! Yes he is! Can I get a witness up in here to scream out AMEN??!!!

I am so fed up of the ridiculousness of the politically correct movement pushing and changing everything from Christmas to Holiday. Lest anyone be offended. The idea of shopping for a holiday tree, or holiday decorations, holiday this and holiday that and make sure you never use the word Christmas. Of course someone can say “Happy Hannukuh” or even sneak in a “Happy Ramadam” and never worry, wonder or care about the Christians. As long as it’s not Christmas everything is fine. In their motive to make everyone happy the politically correct come across a lot more like Scrooge or Mr. Grinch and his not wanting Christmas to come.

The retail world of commercialism is another great example of how the term ‘Holiday’ is being rammed down our throats. Did you know that many major corporations tell retail staff to never utter the dreaded words “Merry Christmas” to customers? As we all know by now this is the time for all the record companies to bombard the public with those ‘best of’ and ‘greatest hits’ compilations. How about all those Christmas albums from whatever artists that are dusted off every year and put in the now called ‘Holiday’ racks. Isn’t it so funny that many of those Cd’s are centered on the dreaded Christmas word? Even the most secular of artists like David Bowie sang the Peace On Earth / Little Drummer Boy duet with Bing Crosby. Christina Aguilera had My Kind of Christmas album, and she’s married to someone who’s Jewish. the number one album on Billboard this week is Josh Groban’s Noel with lyrics like “This star drew night to the northwest, O’er Bethlehem it took its rest; And there it did both stop and stay, Right over the place where Jesus lay. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel.”

Wikipedia has this to say : Christmas is an annual holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus. Christmas festivities often combine the commemoration of Jesus’ birth with various secular customs, many of which have been influenced by earlier winter festivals. The date as a birthdate for Jesus is traditional, and is not considered to be his actual date of birth. The word “Christmas” is a contraction of two words “Christ’s mass” In early Greek versions of the New Testament, the letter Χ (chi), is the first letter of Christ Thus, Xmas is an abbreviation for Christmas.

Guess I should end this with words from Jesus himself who said : “*Blessed are You when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you*!

God bless everyone one of us and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
